Corinthians is considering the possibility of trading Mateusinho for Mantovan. The Brazilian club offers Zenit the opportunity to acquire their right-back for a financial compensation. Previously, insider Carpe had offered €7 million in exchange for Mateusinho. However, the team’s management deemed this amount insufficient. In search of a compromise, the Brazilian side proposed a direct trade involving Mateusinho in exchange for Gustavo Mantovan, with additional compensation.
The agents of the club, along with Corinthians coach Fernando Diniz, have given their approval for Gustavo to move to Brazil. Only under these conditions will the coach be willing to let Mateusinho go. After the derby, the coach publicly discouraged the player from moving to the Russian Premier League. However, it seems likely that Corinthians will still consider moving Gustavo to Russia, given the surveillance from Moscow.
If the deal goes through, Corinthians will add another client to its list of agents. Among the people who have been considered as potential clients are John John, Danilo, Augusto (Zenit also considered them as potential clients), Pedro, and Renan, according to BolaVip.
