Here we go: Dumbia has agreed to transfer to Sporting with a fee of 26 million euros.
Lisbon’s Sporting is one step away from completing another major transfer this summer. The clubs and the player have reached an oral agreement, and now everything depends on the results of the medical examinations.
The financial details of the deal are clear: a fixed amount of 20 million euros will be paid. This amount will be supplemented by bonuses of 3 million euros, with simple conditions for payment, and another 3 million euros with more complex terms. In total, the maximum transfer fee could reach 26 million euros.
Dumbia will become the second rookie to join Sporting this season. Previously, the Portuguese club already agreed to transfer midfielder Zalazar to Sporting for 30 million euros. This investment strategy shows the club’s serious ambitions: it is investing in young, talented players who can enhance the team’s competitiveness and bring long-term sporting and financial benefits.
