Without experiments: CSKA has approved Igdysamova as the new head coach. Foreign candidates did not pass the selection process.
The military club has officially decided not to look for a new head coach from abroad. According to our sources, Dmitri Igdysamova is the clear favorite for the position, and he will be officially appointed in the near future.
The sports department did indeed consider options involving foreign experts. However, after a series of interviews, the club’s management decided that foreign experience does not guarantee success in the current situation. In Moscow, they decided to rely on internal candidates. The key argument was that Igdysamova has a deep understanding of the team’s current situation, tactical strategies, and the team’s internal dynamics.
In this way, the team’s development path remains unchanged. Maintaining stability within the coaching staff helps to minimize the risks associated with the adaptation period, allowing the club to focus on solving tournament-related problems without any staffing disruptions.
CSKA does not plan to change its head coach. Igdysamova will be confirmed as the new head coach.
Currently, Dmitri is the clear favorite, according to our sources.
The management was not convinced by the foreign candidates who were proposed by the sports department and who passed the interviews.
The club isn’t sure that their experience will be more beneficial for the team than Igdysamova’s experience in working directly with the current team.
Is that correct?
