Nine home games in a row in December, along with derbies at the end of the season: the schedule for the “Zubrov” team.

Minsk “Dinamo” has released the schedule for the regular season of the KHL in the 2026/27 season. This schedule promises to be one of the most well-structured schedules in the club’s history. The team will start and end the season on its home ice. A key strategic focus is December, when the “Zubrov” team will play nine home games in a row.

The season begins on September 7th with a match against Nizhny Novgorod “Torpedo”. It ends on March 20th with a crucial Belarusian-Russian derby against fellow Moscow-based teams. October will be the most intense month, with 12 games over 31 days. There are six matches against Moscow “Dinamo”, Yaroslavl “Lokomotiv”, and Cheboksary “Severstal”. These matches will be crucial in determining the team’s position in the standings. At the beginning of March, fans will have two home games against SKA – on the 7th and 9th. These games will be a crucial test of the team’s strength before the playoffs begin.

The schedule for weekends deserves special attention. Of the 27 matches scheduled for Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, 11 will take place in Minsk. It’s interesting to note that three matches are scheduled on Fridays, three on Saturdays, and five on Sundays. This ensures that the arena will be fully occupied. The full schedule can be found on the club’s official website.

With such a schedule, “Dinamo” has a tactical advantage in terms of having many home games, which minimizes logistical challenges. However, the coaching staff will need to manage the rotation and recovery well, especially during the October-December period, when the team’s position in the conference standings will be determined.
