Exactly four and a half decades ago, on May 22nd, 1981, a group of devoted fans of Moscow’s “Lokomotiv” took a historic step by organizing a trip to Kostroma for a match against the local team. This date will forever be remembered as the day when the fan movement of the red-and-green team was born. In this anniversary year, several dozen fans returned to this historic stadium. The stadium, which had been renamed “Dinamo” in the early years, once again hosted a friendly match between the fans of Lokomotiv from Kostroma and those from Moscow. This match wasn’t just a sporting event; it was also a way of honoring traditions that have united fans from different generations.
