An Olympic arena for riders: Yekaterinburg will have a huge skate park
In the capital of the Urals, a large facility called “RMK Extreme” is being prepared for operation. This facility was designed in accordance with international Olympic regulations. It will surely become one of the largest arenas for extreme sports in Russia, covering an area of about 3,000 square meters. The project was initiated by the “Russian Bronze Company”, and the location was chosen to be the rapidly developing sports district of “Arkhangelsk Mikhail”.
The architecture of this complex is carefully designed down to the smallest details. The space is divided into three functional areas. The first area is dedicated to practicing complex tricks and freestyle movements. The second area is meant for systematic training. The third area is designed for comfortable cruising rides. This format allows for the integration of experienced professionals and young beginners who are just starting out in this sport. The completion of this project will be a true celebration for the local street culture, and it will also contribute significantly to the development of extreme sports in the Urals.
